Looking forward to KS2 course ;)

I did not really know what to expect and was kind of dreading the thought of going back to school to learn maths...! I could not have been further from the actual experience. Maths Mum brought me up to date with how my daughter is taught, showed me ways I can help and interact with her and gave me the understanding to know what she is learning and why. Having not set foot in a maths class for over 30 years, I feel that this was invaluable in understanding how times and teaching methods have changed since I was a kid. I will be going back for another session and highly recommend that any parent wishing to help their children with maths should attend. The cup of tea, conversation and biscuits were a great added bonus. Thank you.

I cannot recommend The Maths Mum enough! The lovely Karen was absolutely brilliant at explaining everything every parent needs to know about maths for KS1. I left feeling really confident about helping my daughter. And the coffee was excellent. I am looking forward to attending your KS2 workshop Karen.

I consider myself to be pretty good at maths but had never heard of partitioning and so struggled to help my son in the way he was taught at school. This is why maths mum is brilliant, because it's not teaching me maths it's teaching me how to help my child in a way he understands. 

Thoroughly enjoyed the clear and informative way The Maths mum explained KS1 maths. Great way to learn what your child is taught at school and for us parents to know how to support your children's learning at home. The Maths mum has great ideas of fun ways of learning maths and is clearly passionate about the topic! Thanks Karen, really enjoyed it!

I used to love maths as a kid, but today’s maths that our children are learning is a whole other world! I attended one of Karen’s Maths Mums classes and I now feel more confident helping my daughter with her maths. Karen explains things simply...... and it’s fun! Highly recommend if you want to understand a bit more about the maths taught in lessons today. I’m going back for KS2. 

The parent session was so informative. I feel a lot more confident to help my children with their maths. I especially appreciated learning how to add and subtract the way they are being taught in school. I thought it was really professional and I took a lot away from it. I have already implemented some strategies, like the crocodile. You have a great product and your passion shines through.

I just wanted to let you know how impressed I was with your presentation yesterday... great slides and a fluent and easy delivery.  I have been thinking about it a lot since which is always a good sign.

Thanks for last night.  You present really well.  You'd be a great teacher... Must me in the genes!
