Is your child forming their numbers correctly but writing them back to front? Don’t worry. This is very typical in KS1. A top tip to help them out is to tell them to find a number to copy or check from. There are numbers all around us - all over the classroom walls, on clocks, page numbers, on food packaging. Teaching them the art of self correction is powerful and also a valuable life skill.
