Each stage of the programme covers the same mathematical topics - 1. Using Numbers and The Number System; 2. Using Common Measures, Shape and Space; and 3. Handling Information and Data. This ensures that the programme delivers the breadth of understanding across all topics that are needed to deliver the essential maths for life.

Level 2 follows on seamlessly and builds on the scope and complexity of the topic in an incremental and logical way. The book includes a Record of Progress and a set of sample questions for Level 2 content.

All content in this book sits within the current maths national curriculum of the Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and the beginning of Key Stage 2.
